  • Follows company standards as set by the manager.
  • Follows directions and reads order tickets.
  • Ensures proper removal of stock from inventory.
  • Knows and understands order priority codes.
  • Safely operates moving inventory carousels, roto-sealers, and L-sealers.
  • Properly uses and maintains company equipment such as computers, scan guns, and electronic scales.
  • Properly uses and maintains Pak Rapid and Auto-bagger machines including being able to change Kraft paper rolls, poly bag rolls, and printer ribbons.
  • Keeps machines free and clear of debris and unnecessary clutter.
  • Prepares orders for shipment by packaging to customer specification and requirements.
  • Assumes responsibility for proper storage of parts, inventory control, stock-pulls for contracts, stock pulls, bagging and labeling for orders.
  • Handles Post Receiving and stock allocations.
  • Audits, verifies, and corrects inventory records.
  • Performs physical audits of inventory on a regular basis.
  • Assists other department employees as needed.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, industry specification, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardization situations..


Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Has good communication with people, the ability to pay close attentions to detail, problem solving skills, math and computer skills, and good organizational skills.

Has ability to identify and distinguish colors and the ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point. Has three dimensional vision and the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships. Has the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
  • Works in moderate noise levels.
  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent preferred with three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
